Creed concert!

Wow, there's something I never thought I'd post about again.

Friday night was the concert @ Nissan Pavilion in VA. Traffic was a mess (big surprise), the weather was a mess (somewhat of a surprise)...yadda yadda. I took my mother with me (no way I wasn't going to go, and I didn't want to go alone). We stopped at the mall to get food on the way (driving over the Severn River bridge in the pouring rain going 30mph...*shudder*) since Nissan is f***ing expensive. Between the beltway and 66 it took about 2 hours to get there, then we finally got to eat our Chic-fil-a.

Ok, but the concert itself was AMAZING! They did a couple new tracks and all the old favs, including "Bullets," a favorite of mine. ^__^ And of course they ended the encore with "Higher." It was great to see them in concert again; it was a first of sorts, it was the 1st time I had seen them with the original lineup. Brian Marshall had already left when I saw them in 2002.

Anyway...

I am loving this song in particular. I am glad I went to the concert and that I finally bought the new CD today! :) And oh yeah, got the new Epica CD today too! \m/

But... Today, 8/21 is Creed concert day! Nissan Pavilion.... :)

I've dusted off my Creed Freak shirt. I'm ready. ^__^

it looks I could afford either kind of eh seats at either HersheyPark or Nissan. Still, I wouldn't mind (too much...). ;)

I like Nissan in terms of how it's set up, but that one is on a Friday, and I have to assume I might actually have a f/t job (hilarious, aren't I?), and the Hershey one is on a Sunday, which would work much better schedule wise, and I haven't been there since...well...since last time! ;)

Can you say Creed reunion tour summer '09!?


BECCA!!! They're gonna be at Hershey in August...lmao. And Nissan later that month...Hmmmm... so many decisions...thank goodness it's before RennFest...

Is not conducive to studying!!! It's in the upper 70s today. How can I concentrate on a stupid little paper when it's warm outside!

And I better enjoy it while I can, cuz in a couple days it'll be in the 40s and 50s again... *sigh*

3-4pg. paper for HIST 549

What I really want to do:

drive my car somewhere while cranking up my Within Temptation CD

Except there aren't alot of places to go, and I've done all the errands that needed to be done....

I'm ready for summer. :)

Add to that a pit stop in Fairfax, VA (*whistles*) and I should be back in Roanoke by tomorrow early afternoon.

haven't posted here in a while!

Um...not much going on. Go to classes, do homework, make lunch/dinner. Watch tv/DVDs/browse the internet... you know... Can't complain.

Except it's getting cooler out and the days are getting shorter...I do not like that. Where'd summer go? Already opening weekend of RennFest seems like it was months ago and not a few weeks...was it really that hot???
