Oh you lucky few

Who have this lj on you friend's list! I felt like posting here today, so there.


Yesterday, I journeyed to the faraway land of Connecticut. It was a long, harrowing journey. I am lucky to return alive. Or maybe not so harrowing. Getting up at 4:30am is harrowing though... Then it was a long 1 hour, 10 minute flight to Hartford, CT. And when we arrived...it was snowing! ^__^ Ok, so traffic sucked, but it was snowing!!! It was pur-dee.

Then blah blah given tour of the Meriden office...blah blah blah, met a bunch of people...blah blah...sat in on the health plan meeting, woohoo, blah blah blah, sat around til it was time to head back to the airport. Exciting stuff. Actually, the exciting part was flying somewhere by myself, and of course...the snow! And the fact that I took a business trip, to a lesser extent. At least I didn't have any luggage.


Beverages I consumed yesterday:

5am - Wawa dark roast coffee, 12oz.

6-6:30am - Red eye from BWI coffee kiosk in the Southwest building, 12oz.

8:20-9am - Red eye from Bradley airport food place, 12 oz.

7:20-8:30am - hot tea during the flight.

3:30-4:30pm - Red eye from same place @ Bradley airport, 12oz.

5-5:30pm - tomato juice during flight back to BWI.


Uh, yeah. And did I mention all that coffee had no noticeable affect on me, aside from keeping slightly awake? The airport coffee isn't strong enough.
